The Rack

In the Bank Pool, balls are racked in 9-ball pattern, however, in no specific order.

Play the Bank Pool

In the bank pool, there is a specific rule to bank all the shots i.e., the cue ball to the object ball and then the object ball to any of the cushions, while approaching towards the pocket. Bank pool is the “no slop” pool game, which means that there are no kick shots. The object ball is to hit cue ball directly, prior to shooting at the rail. Even there are no combinations, in a shot the cue ball must contact the object ball, and then the object ball should hit the called pocket. Further, the player must call the ball and pocket together. The object ball must not hit any other ball on its way to the pocket.

The Foul

The player "owes" the table as well as a ball, if he has formerly pocketed any ball and it gets spotted. If the cue ball is pocketed scratched, or else knocked-off the table, then it is considered as a foul. The cue ball should be spotted at the back of the head string, for the balls that sunk on the spotted shot. If the shooter has not legally pocketed a ball during the foul, the ball is still owed that must be spotted subsequent to the inning where it was legally pocketed. If the shooter plays a legal bank shot and if the other ball is pocketed accidentally, it is not taken as a foul, but the extra ball is spotted once the inning completes.
